What was built

Ten megawatt-hours, delivered down a field track

A containerised battery system of 5 MW and 10 MWh, set on prepared foundations beside an operating solar plant — so the generation already on the site has somewhere to go when the connection cannot take it.

The containers arrived on low-loaders under abnormal-transport escort, along a track between the maize and the panel rows. Two mobile cranes lifted each one off the trailer and set it on cast concrete plinths in a single working day.

The photographs on this page are ours, dated, and taken on site. The delivery shot carries its own GPS stamp — 2 September 2026, 45.82 N 16.96 E — because a project record nobody can check is not a record.

Doors open, racks in

The moment the wrapping comes off. Each container is set down, levelled, and opened for the incoming inspection before anything is energised.

Inside: racked battery modules on liquid cooling, the busbars that tie them together, and the aisle an engineer needs to reach any one of them. Nothing on this page is a render.
