Why C&I buys storage

The bill has a peak. The battery covers it.

Billing peak power, off-peak/peak arbitrage and PV self-consumption — a cabinet on site turns a spiky load into a flat one the grid connection can carry.

A grid upgrade takes eighteen months and is paid up front. A battery reaches the same result without raising the connection capacity — and with grid-connected and off-grid modes with automatic switching, it carries the site through an interruption.

  • Peak power — shave the billed peak that sets your capacity charge.
  • Arbitrage — charge off-peak, discharge at the daily peak.
  • PV surplus — store midday solar instead of exporting it cheaply.

That fleet is where the software comes from — and how many cabinets a site needs is not a rule of thumb. A large hotel can need more than a factory, so we run your own 15-minute load through the same AI sizing engine that produces a leasing offer.

Under ESaaS the battery is our investment, not yours: we finance, install, own and operate the cabinet on your site. You put up no capital, and the net benefit the system produces is measured against your own meter and shared.

One agreement covers everything: the hardware, the Storion platform, service with the 24-hour response window, and the market work our electricity-trading licence allows. We are paid only out of what the system produces — our interests are yours.

Modular by design

Storage that grows with your business

Start with one cabinet and add units as the load grows. They parallel on a single 400 V AC busbar and there is no fixed ceiling — four units already give 500 kW and more than 1 MWh, and a site that needs more simply gets more; what sets the number is the sizing calculation and your grid connection, not the product. Photovoltaics, generators and EV chargers join the same bus, monitored from one platform. Nothing gets replaced; the system simply grows.

Our operations team monitors every system remotely, our engineers service it, and the client portal shows what it saved — and when it worked for the market. A contractual 24-hour support window applies for warranty cases in Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany and Spain.
