Storion Energy d.o.o.
An energy-infrastructure company in the European Union — European-assembled hardware, software developed in the EU, and direct access to electricity markets, under one contract and with our own capital.
One company across the whole stack
Most of the market does one layer. We take responsibility for the device, the savings on the bill, and the value the market pays — and we hold our own trading licence to do it.
That combination — C&I hardware, aggregation that crosses the market threshold, and an own licence — is a single thesis, not a list of services.

Three things that fit together
European hardware
Assembled in the EU, engineered in-house — five storage classes from 5 kWh to multi-MWh containers. Origin
Our own software
EMS, optimiser and client portal — our own code, data hosted in the EU. Platform
Direct market access
Our own trading licence and direct access to the power exchange of the market concerned — the layer a manufacturer cannot reach. Markets
Storage at every scale — one machine, four problems
Peaks set your grid bill. Solar is worth least at noon. The connection is full before the business is. Outages cost money. A battery is the same answer four times over — it moves energy to where and when it is worth more. Same cells, same safety architecture, same software; only the scope changes.
Utility-scale
Containers from 2.75 MWh, up to 5 MWh per unit — grid connections and renewable plants.
Utility-scaleCommercial & industrial
The ESS 261 cabinet and modular racks, 261 kWh to 1 MWh and beyond — industry, hotels, logistics.
C&IHome storage
LV and HV stackable, 5–10 kWh per module — households and large homes.
Home storageEV charging
Fast charging behind one cabinet, with the back office for management, billing and roaming.
EV chargingA running system — and the team behind it
The hardware is the smallest part of what you are buying. Whichever scale you are at, the service is the same.
- Sizing from your consumption — a year of bills or metering data decides the size; you never pay for capacity you do not need.
- Installation by our engineers — delivered, fitted, commissioned and connected by our own team.
- The Storion platform — runs the battery every day; the portal shows your savings and its market work in real time.
- Monitoring & service — 24/7 remote monitoring, maintenance, and a contractual 24-hour response window for warranty cases.
- Market access — through our own trading licence the battery also earns when the site does not need it.
That is the modus operandi: we stay responsible for the system for as long as it runs — whoever owns it.
Three layers. One contract.
The Storion Energy Management System runs every installation through the same three layers — device, site and market. Our own code, developed in the EU: no licensed SCADA, no third-party EMS. A lower layer is a prerequisite for a higher one, and many suppliers stop at layer 1 or 2.
Portfolio & market
Day-ahead optimisation on exchange prices, aggregation of many sites into one resource, balancing group, aFRR and mFRR.
Site optimisation
Billing peak power, off-peak/peak arbitrage, charging from PV surplus, scheduling, load forecasting.
Device control
Modbus and CAN to the BMS and PCS, safety interlocks, SCADA state view.
Manufacturers do not normally hold their own trading licence, and we are not aware of one in our markets that does — the split between making hardware and running the market layer is structural. A manufacturer that entered layer 3 would be competing with the installers it sells through. Our optimisation layer and our licence are our own.

Control Center — running mode, dispatch, peak-valley arbitrage, anti-reflux and demand control
Your savings, visible in real time
The portal shows real savings as they happen, and trading activity as a coloured bar inside your own consumption graph — you see exactly when your battery worked for the market, with nothing to decode. A manufacturer selling through distributors rarely has this relationship with the end user, and generally cannot offer the view.
Installed capacity is also a training set
Every installation adds 15-minute load profiles of real EU industrial, hospitality and commercial consumers, collected in live operation. Technically that is a training base for load forecasting and sizing. Commercially it means every quote can show a real result on a comparable profile instead of a projection. All operational data sits on servers in the EU, GDPR-compliant by design.

Engineering-led. Locally embedded.
In-house teams cover hardware, firmware, EMS software, AI/ML and power electronics — the full lifecycle is built and supported by Storion Energy engineers, not subcontracted. Research and product development run in-house, with an office and local service team in Budapest.
Together with Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), the company co-founded the Central European New Energy Joint Research Laboratory — focused on energy storage, intelligent energy management and battery recycling.
